Why two batches, not one
Navratri buyers walk in from September 15 onwards. They want the specific nine-colour rotation and they buy in the week before day one.
Diwali and Karva Chauth buyers are different. They walk in from October 20 through November 6. They want heavier Georgette, more sequin, richer tones. They also spend 40 to 60 percent more per piece.
If you buy one batch for both, you either run out of Navratri colours by Sept 20 or you overstock Navratri and dead-stock the leftover before Diwali starts.

Karva Chauth is on Sunday, November 1, 2026. Diwali is on Sunday, November 8. These are your two biggest single-day revenue drivers.
