Common mistakes I see gift buyers make

Buying polyester kasavu. The kasavu tape is plastic, feels chalky, breaks after two washes. Real kasavu is either pure zari (gold-coated silver thread) or copper-based half-fine zari. Rub the border gently. Real kasavu feels cool and slightly metallic. Fake feels like scotch tape.
